What motivates you?

I love pilates because I think that it is a very focused workout: gentle on the body but still highly effective for building strength and endurance. It is also amazing how pilates supports us in other areas of exercise such as lifting weights, calisthenics, running and the like – because it makes you aware of your body. It is a very helpful and functional bonus that pilates gives us and it is such a big joy to share it with other people. 


Outside of The Studio...

I am very fond of calisthenics and currently learning handstands. Pilates helps tremendously – it’s amazing how skills that you learn in pilates are transferable to other areas of exercise and daily functional movement.

I am also obsessed with dogs and when I am not teaching or trying to walk on hands, I am usually chasing my GSP Biscuit on the beach or in the park.
