We get it! The struggle to find time for exercise and self-care is REAL when you’re juggling little ones and their sleeping/ snacking/ socialising schedules.
We are committed to providing support to local parents looking to optimise their wellbeing through the provision of low cost, convenient, on-site creche services.
Creche can be used while you’re attending a group or clinical class or attending a 1-1 physio appointment or massage (during creche hours). Whatever you need, you can rest easy knowing that your kids are being supervised by experienced child-care workers/caring local mums. We encourage all parents in our Studio community to make the most of the creche!
Creche hours
The Studio creche operating hours* are:
9.20am - 12.30pm Mon, Wed & Fri
10.20am - 12.30pm Tues & Thurs
*Note potential changes to hours during school holidays.
We've curated a selection of toys and games for all ages that will keep your little one entertained and asking when they can come back! Our wonderful carers ensure that all kids are safely and lovingly watched over so that you can relax and get the most out of your moment of self care.
You will find the creche times listed on the group exercise schedule – the creche hours will be listed in time slots above each hourly group class slot. If you are planning on attending a 10.30am class you will book the 10.30am creche slot (likewise 11.30am class, 11.30am creche slot).
Numbers are capped to ensure the best possible care for the little ones present – so bookings are essential. The creche booking will be made under your normal profile (i.e. your name will appear NOT your child's). There is presently not an option to book multiple children into one timeslot so please email reception the day prior if you have more than one child planning to attend under the booking (or call if it’s day of).
Utilising the Studio creche during classes or appointments will incur a $4.50/child fee.
Payment will be processed to your nominated card attached to your profile at the end of each day. We will get in contact if you don't currently have a card on your account. You will be required to have card details attached to your profile in order to continue booking into the creche.
If you are cancelling your spot in class please remember to cancel your creche booking as well to make the space available to someone else. Failure to cancel the spot will result in the $4.50 fee being charged to your card on file.
We understand it can be nerve-racking leaving your little one in someone else's care, we therefore encourage you to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to class to settle your child in (our carers arrive 10-15 mins before classes commence).
Please make the effort to arrive early so that classes can start on time and so that you get the full benefit of your booking.
The creche is adjacent to Studio 2 on Level 2 of The Studio.
Creche curtains and doors close once class starts and rest assured that if your little one is very unsettled during their visit the carer will have somebody come and let you know.
We provide a huge variety of toys, music and comfy chairs however please feel free to bring along any special toys or a snack for your child. If your child has any specific allergies or individual needs feel free to chat to our friendly carers prior to class. Please no nuts.
A change table is available in the first bathroom as you enter the Studio 2 and creche space. We recommend a nappy change or toilet pit-stop prior to taking your little one into creche to reduce the chance of you needing to pop out during your class to help your child.
