What appointment should I book?
Initial appointment (45mins)
If this is your first time visiting The Studio or if you are presenting with a new injury/complaint. An initial appointment will allow your Physiotherapist sufficient time to properly assess and treat your condition
Follow up appointment (30mins)
For subsequent visits regarding an injury that has been assessed by a Studio Physiotherapist.
Follow up extended (45mins)
Allowing extra time for complex cases or appointments requiring treatment of two areas.
Clinical Initial Assessment (1 hour)
A requirement prior to joining Semi-Private Classes. During this appointment your history will be taken, a full body screening completed and external real-time ultrasound will be utilised to assess your pelvic floor and abdominal strength.
Your therapist will work with you in setting short and long term goals ensuring you commence a valuable and effective Pilates journey. If you are an experienced Pilates participant we still require you to book an Initial Assessment to bring our staff up to speed, reassess your goals and assess your core/pelvic floor awareness and strength.
Please drink 1-2 glasses of water just before your appointment to ensure you have a moderately full bladder for the External Ultrasound assessment if indicated. Wear comfy clothing as you might commence exercise in this appointment. Socks are required on the equipment. Grip socks sold in Studio for $16.
Women’s Health Physiotherapy (1 Hour)
If this is your first time visiting The Studio with a Women’s Health concern. An initial appointment is required to allow sufficient time for proper assessment and treatment of your condition.
Women’s Health Follow up appointment (45mins)
For subsequent visits regarding a Women’s Health presentation that has been assessed by a Studio Women’s Health Physiotherapist.
Massage (30 min, 60 min or 90 min)
30 min appointments for 1 area of focus, 60 - 90 minute appointments for 2+ areas or full body focus. If you are looking for a 90 min/extended appointment or can’t find a time that suits, email or call The Studio with your request and we will do our best to accommodate.
Initial (45mins) and follow up appointments (30mins)

Please note if an appointment is cancelled less than 24hours prior to the scheduled time (or is simply missed) a fee of 50% of the appointment cost is payable.
We pride ourselves on our premium service, allocating as much time as possible to each client. We do not double book clients and allow ample time for each booking; unfortunately we must enforce our cancellation policy and thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
If appointments need re-arranging please provide as much notice as possible in order to free up your spot for another client.

Why do I need an initial consultation?
Initial consults allow time for our physio's to take a thorough medical and injury history to ensure you receive the best possible management plan.
How much will my appointment cost?

Are Private Health claims and rebates available?
Yes, We accept most Private Health funds for Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates consults.
How much will I be able to claim?
Different funds provide different levels of cover. The amount refundable will vary depending on your health provider and level of care.
What if I can't get in to see the same physiotherapist?
Every effort is made to ensure consistency of patient care, if you are unable to see the same practitioner for your follow up appointment rest assured The Studio practitioners work very closely together, and patient handovers and management plans are accessible if the need arises.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to fill in a consent form.
