Jacqui Cheng

Physiotherapist

Clinical exercise

Jacqui graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours). She has worked for major hospitals in Brisbane and Hong Kong, where she gained vast experience in orthopaedics, medical, geriatrics and neurological rehabilitation. Since relocating to Sydney, Jacqui moved into private practice and has treated a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and sport injuries across different populations.

Jacqui is a caring and compassionate physiotherapist who takes the time to listen to her patients’ concerns and goals, and individualises each of their treatment based on detailed assessment and an accurate diagnosis. Her greatest motivation as a physiotherapist is seeing her patients walk out feeling more empowered and well-supported as they go through their journey of rehabilitation and injury prevention. Skilled in manual therapy, she combines this with exercise prescription, dry needling, education and lifestyle advice to optimise outcomes. After undergoing further training in Women’s Health and Clinical Pilates, Jacqui realised her passion, which ultimately impelled her to join the amazing team at The Studio!

During her downtime, you will find Jacqui breaking a sweat at the karate dojo, winding down at yoga or baking up a storm. She is a fluent speaker of Cantonese and Mandarin.

Her favourite exercise: Jackrabbit on the reformer, for the core, upper and lower body… all at once!
