Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
Clinical Exercise
Reformer
Francesca grew up in the UK and completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2020. She was drawn to a career in Physiotherapy due to her love for collaborative work and movement.
Since graduating, Francesca has gained experience in the UK National Health Service, working in a range of settings including Orthopaedics, ICU, respiratory therapy and musculoskeletal (MSK) therapies.
After completing her junior rotation in MSK, Francesca took on a senior role as MSK Physiotherapist within the NHS. During this time she worked within hydrotherapy, in collaboration with the lower limb specialist Physiotherapist and was the shockwave therapy lead. During this time, she treated both chronic and acute injuries.
Francesca also completed the Stryker Hip and Knee course in 2024, lead by the leading orthopaedic lower limb specialist consultants in the North-West of England. Here she was able to draw further on her knowledge of hip and knee replacements, providing excellent patient care.
Outside of Francesca’s full-time work, she teaches Mat Pilates, holding additional qualifications in pre and post-natal Pilates, Pilates for orthopaedic conditions and Pilates for older adults. Francesca loves to use her Physiotherapy skills to modify exercises for pre-natal and injured clients, believing that Pilates should be accessible for all.
In her free time, Francesca loves to run and spend time at the beach (alongside side jumping into a Pilates class herself of course)!
