Miranda grew up in New Zealand where she completed her Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy in 2014. Following graduation, Miranda dove straight into Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and began working in a private practice in Queensland at a clinic which incorporated Physiotherapy with Clinical Pilates. It was very early on in her career where Miranda’s love of helping patients with their recovery through exercise prescription was established.
Miranda then headed to London and continued working as a Physiotherapist in private practice, and after 18 months she then began work as a volunteer paediatric physiotherapist before moving to Sydney, where she has now been working in private practice for the last few years.

Miranda enjoys working with patients to achieve their individual goals. Miranda has a kind, caring nature and is passionate about positive outcomes for her patients. She understands the patient’s rehabilitation journey first-hand - as a youngster she was constantly attending physiotherapy herself whilst playing representative basketball for New Zealand and also whilst at college on scholarship in the USA. Miranda wishes she had found Clinical Pilates back then as this would have been helpful when working to get back onto the court following injury!

Over the years, Miranda has completed APPI Pilates training (Equipment, Mat and Antenatal courses), and has also completed the Polestar Pilates Rehabilitation Series. In her spare time, she enjoys going to Pilates, Yoga and to the gym, and also finding a good coffee after walking one of Sydney’s beautiful coastal walks with her husband. In 2021 Miranda gave birth to her little boy Lysander and then in 2023 she welcomed a daughter, Celina. After many years working with pre and post natal woman, Miranda has enjoyed experiencing the challenges and joys of motherhood firsthand.

Favourite exercise: Side spilt squats on the reformer – a great lower limb strengthening workout!
