Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy

B. Sc. Physiotherapy, Hons
Northumbria Uni

Tom graduated in the UK in 2009 with an Honours degree in Physiotherapy. From an early stage in his career he decided to specialise in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. After completing his hospital-based rotations in various Physio settings Tom became a senior musculoskeletal Physio.

Tom has worked in the UK, New Zealand and Australia. In addition to working in the public and private sector, Tom has worked extensively in the sporting world with a variety of athletes; elite rugby teams, professional golfers, runners and triathletes, along with patching up those weekend warriors for when those Saturday games come around.

It was in New Zealand that Tom first began teaching Clinical Exercise and Pilates. On moving to Australia Tom set up a thriving Clinical Exercise and Pilates service in a private practice in Sydney.

Tom sees exercise-based rehabilitation as the future of the physiotherapy world, with clinical Exercise and Pilates an integral part of this.

When not at work Tom can be found playing sport and weight-training. Despite this, he still find’s Katie’s Barre class a struggle!
Tom is a huge fan of Sydney’s food scene and loves a scoop or two from the craft breweries of the Inner West!
