Since graduating from Newcastle University, Kelsey jumped straight into the world of elite sport, interning for the NSW Waratahs Super Rugby Team then continuing on with a Dietitian role. More recently, she has been working with the Health and Performance Collective team, the GWS Giants and the Parramatta Eels teams. Kelsey has also worked in private practice where she loves to see clients from all areas of life who want to improve their health and wellbeing, and especially the everyday weekend warrior looking to improve their performance through nutrition.
Kelsey became a dietitian thanks to her love of food and would often say she wanted to be a chef when she was younger. Combined with her love of food science at school, choosing a career in nutrition was a natural progression. She incorporates her food knowledge and love of cooking into her appointments, encouraging clients to grow their confidence in the kitchen and in their own food choices. Kelsey is passionate about helping others to see how simple eating well can be, as she knows how much misinformation is available about nutrition. In her spare time, you’ll find Kelsey keeping active by playing AFL, hitting the gym, getting outside for an active adventure, or you’ll find her in the kitchen cooking up a storm. Her favourite food is a perfect fresh oyster, and she equally loves going on bushwalking adventures and exploring wineries.
