Bachelor of Physiotherapy - University of South Australia
Abby grew up in Mount Gambier in country SA and completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia. Since graduating, Abby has gained experience in the private setting working with patients with both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Abby spent the early part of her career facilitating ‘return to work’ rehabilitation and also has experience working in a community setting helping adults and children with disabilities.
Abby was first drawn to physiotherapy as a career due to her natural instinct to help and care for others. Abby has a warm and gentle nature and really takes the time to listen to each of her patients. Abby is passionate about building confidence and trust in her patients, - an essential part in making a great health care professional with positive treatment outcomes.
‘Movement is medicine for creating change’, seeing people achieve things they never thought possible is a huge motiving factor to keeping Abby’s passion alive. She believes in providing a well-rounded approach when managing patients including active rehabilitation and education regarding ones injury and lifestyle. Abby is currently completing her Clinical Pilates training through APPI and has additional training in Dry Needling.
Outside The Studio, Abby is a keen foodie, who loves to try new restaurants and cafes all over Sydney. Her favourite cuisines are Mexican and Italian! She also loves walking in nature whether that be near the coast or bushland.
