Over 50's Strength
A strength class designed for the Over 50's population with a mix of circuit style functional exercises to promote bone health, muscle tone, balance and confidence.
All levels of ability welcome with exercise modifications offered for those with new/old injuries. This class will give you the confidence you need to continue doing the things you love, through safe exercise programming and instruction.
Carrying a pesky injury? It might be an idea to book in with one of our Physiotherapists prior to commencing class so they can provide advice as to exercise modifications you may require.
Over 50's Strength
It's my first class at The Studio, what do I need to know?
Bring along a towel and drink bottle (water available to purchase). Grip socks must be worn for Reformer Pilates and Barre and are available to purchase at The Studio. Arrive 5-10 minutes prior to class to sign in and find your mat!
I am pregnant can I do classes at The Studio?
Yes! All of our instructors are trained in the management of exercise in pregnancy and will tailor your program accordingly. If recently pregnant or post natal an assessment/return to exercise check is required with one of our physiotherapists. If you are finding it uncomfortable lying on your back we suggest avoiding Reformer Classes and sticking with Barre, TRX or Clinical Pilates for a more individualised approach with the guidance of a Physio.
How do I book online?
Book Now - This will take you to the Class Schedule Page where you can choose which class you would like to book. Click on 'Book Now' alongside your chosen class and this will take you to the MINDBODY site where you will be asked to create your own login and password.
Please include all your information in your profile (including billing information when making a purchase) and be sure to read all ‘Terms and Conditions’ prior to booking.
