A strength class designed for the Over 50's population with a mix of circuit style functional exercises to promote bone health, muscle tone, balance and confidence. All welcome.

This class is just for the Bro's. Exercises are tailored towards the male physique with a focus on mobilising the hips, shoulders and back and strengthening the arms, abs and butt. Real men do Pilates.
Reformer Classes provide a full body workout which is low impact and kind to the joints. Providing a moving surface, the Reformer challengers core strength and full body stability. All levels welcome.
A Studio original. The perfect class for those looking to get their sweat on while moving to banging beats. Think old school aerobics meets Barre meets Pilates. All levels welcome.
A Reformer Pilates workout with a bonus cardio hit. Enjoy the strength and length benefits of traditional Reformer exercises combined with cardio intervals to get your heart rate pumping.
A dynamic fusion of Pilates, ballet and cardio fitness. The perfect transition from the mat to dynamic standing exercises. A low impact, high intensity workout. No dance experience required!
Boxilates is a dynamic fusion of Mat Pilates and Boxing Cardio. Expect a FUN workout combining the functional benefits of Pilates with the high intensity cardio and co-ordination of boxing.
A strength and conditioning circuit ideal for clients wanting to train in a small group environment. No two classes the same, expect a mix of exercises leaving you feeling STRONG and LONG
A mat class using small apparatus (balls, bands, weights) to provide a full-body workout. Expect strong emphasis on controlled movement building flexibility, strength, posture and body awareness.
Group Exercise at The Studio
Group classes at The Studio offer a well rounded, seriously effective and fun workout. These classes are a progression from our Clinical program.
Class sizes are kept small (max 8 in Reformer classes, and 10-14 in all others) ensuring clients receive individual attention, corrections and modifications if required.
Our team are heavily influenced by our Physio contingent with the focus of each class to be safe, functional, well balanced and results focused.
Our instructors are caring, enthusiastic and innovative. Expect to feel welcome, encouraged and challenged - no two classes the same.
Classes are pregnancy friendly, if you have any restrictions please let your instructor know. If you are unsure if Group Classes are appropriate get in touch and we can help direct you to the right class for you.
Our Prenatal Mat Class is pregnancy specific although if you are feeling up to it you are welcome to join in our other group classes (Note: Reformer Cardio not appropriate for pregnancy)
If carrying an injury our Clinical Program is the best place to start.
If you are less then 6 months Post Natal you must book a Clinical Initial appointment with one of our Physiotherapists prior to joining our Group Classes. Following this appointment we will be able to best guide you as to the appropriate classes and exercise modifications for you.
Please note if you need to change or cancel a class this must be done within our early cancellation window - 12 hours prior to class. Classes must be canceled via The Studio app or website, we do not accept cancellations via email or phone. If you 'late cancel' or 'no show' you will be charged as normal for your class (a class deducted from your pack) or if on a membership you will be charged a $20 fee.
It's my first class at The Studio, what do I need to know?
Bring along a towel and drink bottle (water available to purchase). Grip socks must be worn for Reformer Pilates and Barre, and are available to purchase at The Studio.
Arrive 5-10 minutes prior to class to sign in and find your mat!
I am pregnant can I do classes at The Studio?
Yes! All of our instructors are trained in the management of exercise in pregnancy and will tailor your program accordingly. If you are recently pregnant or post natal an assessment/return to exercise check is required with one of our physiotherapists.
If you are finding it uncomfortable lying on your back we advise avoiding Reformer Classes and sticking with Barre, or Clinical Pilates for a more individualised approach with the guidance of a Physiotherapist.
How do I book online?
Book Now - This will take you to the Class Schedule Page where you can choose which class you would like to book. Click on 'Book Now' alongside your chosen class and this will take you to the MINDBODY site where you will be asked to create your own login and password.
Please include all your information in your profile (including billing information when making a purchase) and be sure to read all ‘Terms and Conditions’ prior to booking.
